Champlain Construction Company was established in 1955 by Raymond "Buck" Danyow and his wife Lucy.

The couple pooled their resources and started CCC in their garage at Birchard Park.

In 1963 they had grown enough to move their operation to its present location on Route 7 in Middlebury.

In 1975 they incorporated as Champlain Construction Company, Inc., with their sons Larry, John, and Jim.

Champlain Construction is a genuine Vermont company, homegrown here in Addison County in the scenic Champlain Valley of Central Vermont. We are still here 58 years later and still owned by the Danyow family.

CCC employs between twenty and thirty experienced, highly qualified people each year who can help take care of your projects and attend to your needs.

We are the largest construction company in Addison County, offering complete site prep from beginning to end, including turf restoration. We install commercial water lines, sewer and storm systems, and complete site work including residential water systems. CCC also has its own gravel pit on Route 116 in East Middlebury, which produces many materials for retail sale, municipal use, and client projects.

We strive to uphold the "Highest Standard of Quality" and will work closely with you to ensure your next project is a success.
